‘Hara Hara Mahadeva’ is telecasting on Maa TV from Monday to Saturday every week. ‘Hara Hara Mahadev’ is dubbed from “Devon Ke Dev Mahadev” which aired on 18 December 2011 and is being telecasted on Hindi channel “Life OK”. ‘Hara Hara Mahadev’ is a mythical drama series, truly based on the legends of Shiva, who can also be called as Mahadev. The show has got the inspiration from the works of mythologist ‘Devdutt Pattanaik’. The scripting has been carried out by 'Utkarsh Naithani' and ‘Mihir Bhuta’ and directed by ‘Nikhil Sinha’ and ‘Manish Singh’. The show progresses of his journey from a hermit to a house holder. Sati, who is the daughter of Daksh, a dedicated devotee of lord Vishnu, is drawn to Shiva against the will of her father. The story follows as Sati coming into the life of Shiva by falling in love with him, their journey together, and how that got affected, circumstances and how it moulded the universe. This is one of the most enchanting and interesting tales of love for which the story has been credited as the first love story of the universe. ‘Hara Hara Mahadev’ was nominated in 14 categories for Indian Telly Awards, in 2013 and won 7 awards in different categories and stood as the second highest serial which received a number of awards that year.

The story starts with the tale of marriage of Lord Shiva with Sati and covers incidents related to Daksha Yagna, Sati’s sacrifice of her life in fire and Shiva transforming pieces of her body into Shakti Peethas. And later, the story covers Sati’s rebirth as Parvathi and her performing penance to get Lord Shiva as her husband and the incident relating to the destroying of a demon called Tripurasura and the incidents relating to the churning of the Ocean of milk called Samudra Manthan and then the incidents relating to the birth of Karthikeya and Ganesh, etc.
Hara Hara Mahadeva serial is running successfully on Maa TV and has completed its 604th episode as on 22nd August.
