Manoj Kolhatkar is an actor and film producer born in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. He did his schooling from Phatak high school and Shirke high school. He is a commerce graduate from Gogate College and his hobbies include theater. He did his theater in Shambhuraje. His first TV Marathi debut in 2012 , was in a show named Avaghachi ha sansor, and the first Marathi film was Sane-guruji which also released in 2012. His first Hindi TV show released in 2012 Tukaram, and his first Hindi film was Hallabol which released in 2008.

Other films he featured in are Madholal Keep Walking and Zokkomon. He is married to Nandini Kolhatkar and has a son named Chinmay Kolhatkar. This versatile actor has worked in Marathi theatre, television and the film industry for 30 years. He has been a part of the Hindi film industry for the past eight years. He was seen in various popular Marathi and Hindi television shows such as Raja Shiv Chatrapati, Malek, Pascha Anandyatri, Bajirao-Mastani, Baalgandharva, Sane Guruji, Behan, Galgale Nighale, Joshi Ki Kamble, Shri Siddhi Vinayak Mahima, Maharani Padmini Ka Johar, Devo key Dev Mahadev, The Adventures of Hatim, Malek, Krupasindhu, Avghachi Sansar, Pascha Anandyatri. He also likes to write. He has written one-act plays and full-length dramas for Marathi theaters. One of them is “Chang.” The play was staged in commercial theater in the year 2002. His first Hindi television show was Maharani Padmini which aired on Sony in 2009.

In Maharani Padamini he played the role of Malik Khafoor. His upcoming Hindi television show is Chandra-Nandini which airs on Star Plus. He is quite active on social networking sites and keeps updating his followers about his daily shoots and happenings. He holds a respectable position in his fields and is a senior artist. His acting skills are commendable and he knows how to make his audience interested in his works. He is very experienced and the personality he carries is the star attraction of his work. Whichever role he is offered, he never lets the dignity of that character to go down.
