Priyanca Thakare

Priyanka Thakare is a Hindi television actress. Though not very well known in her field of work, she has still managed to score quite a few roles in the television industry. Though doing small time jobs, at first, her face came into limelight with Singhasa Battisi. It is a mythological show, which was originally telecast on Sony Pal. Her biggest break till date was when she was hooked to play the role of Suyasha, in Devon ka Dev….Mahadev. Suyasha is the daughter of Vayudev. This show started in 2011 and had continued steadily for three years, on Life Ok. This show brought her into a moderately bright limelight, as it is one of the most popular shows on Indian television. DKDM was dubbed in eight different languages, with different names as well. In Bengali it was Devadidev Mahadev, in Tamil it was Shivam, the Malayalam version was named Kailasanathan while the Oriya version was christened Mahadev.

Here, she plays the role of a joyful, easy-going girl named Suruchi. The story goes that, Suruchi proposes to Vyom, who sadly, refuses to marry her. The rest of the story unfolds accordingly. Priyanka also starred on an episode of Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma on Sab TV, where she played the role of a saleswoman employed under Jethalal Champaklal Gada. Later, she tries to screw his life over by creating a scandal of her affair with the married, one-woman-man Jetha.

Although she doesn’t have a lot of feathers in her cap, she has received proper reviews for the work that she has done. Admittedly, she has enough potential to make it large, if guided well.
