Plot
Rocky and his father run a driving school. A local don tries to seize his land. Rocky pleads with him to give him some time to arrange funds to save his driving school. Meanwhile, Rocky’s father passes away. Rocky learns that his father had an insurance policy, which would help him retain his driving school. So, he approaches the concerned authorities. Maya, the bank official, informs him that Rocky’s name is not on the nominee list. Who will get the policy amount? Will Rocky be able to save his driving school? The rest of the film follows Rocky’s decision.
Star Performance
Vishwaksen is perfect in his role. His mass appeal helped elevate the role well. Shraddha’s performance is neat. She fits well in the given role. Meenakshi gets a solid role and she makes good use of it. Naresh appears in the first half and gives a decent performance. Harsha Vardhan, Harsha Chemudu and Raghu have done what was required.
Analysis
The script may appear as usual while listening to the synopsis. But it is a bit different from the routine and is shot well, too. The stars are perfectly picked and placed in the proper roles. The appreciable thing in this film is the roles of female leads. Unlike some mass movies, which use the heroine’s character from the template, Mechanic Rocky has given importance to the female leads and has given them performance-oriented roles. The first half didn’t start on an impressive note, and the comedy, too, didn’t work perfectly. Certain scenes that needed to have emotional moments, lacked in them. The flashback scenes and the romantic portions are not up to the mark. The screenplay, too, needed a better hand.

Verdict
Despite being an action entertainer with mass appeal, the film has some good performances. Though there are some loopholes, the movie can be watched once!
