Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs is an Indian musical reality television show in Tamil. The show is a spinoff of a hugely popular Hindi language musical reality show called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il champs which is again a spinoff of another Hindi language reality show called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. That show became such a huge entity, that the network produced this show. The concept behind Lil champs was that a bunch of kids will be selected through rigorous rounds of auditions. The kids will be selected based on their singing talent. Then these kids will be trained and groomed by professional singers. These kids will compete against one another to win the title of the show. The show was divided into rounds and each round had a system of scoring that was to be allotted by the respective judges. The kid with the lowest score was to be eliminated and the kid with the highest score will be promoted to further round and at the end will win the show ultimately. The show debuted on television in 2016 and ran on air till the end of 2017.
