, the makers say that it is not another serial about the mythological character Seethe but is close to what Seethe endures in Ramayana.
The serial features Nagarjun of Agnisakshi fame, Madhubala, and Rakshita in lead roles. The lead female character is tormented and continuously asked to prove her worth and dignity, just like Seethe in Ramayana. The several 'Agniparikshas' she has to undergo to prove herself depicts nothing but the vanity and the egoistic nature of this society, at the central core of which male chauvinism still dominates.
After his dear wife passes away, Arya, the male lead, agrees for remarriage for the sake of his young, recently orphaned daughter. But a big twist in the tale awaits on the wedding day as an unexpected, and uninvited guest makes an entry, shocking everyone.
The strength in the serial's storyline, powered by the performances of the wonderful cast, makes this serial a fan favorite amongst viewers of Kannada television. This serial indeed holds up a mirror to the face of the present generation to showcase its hypocrisy.
