Plot

The plot is nothing but what happens when a tribal guy, who lives on an Island with his people, visits a city. What is his reaction while he witnesses varieties of people and technological developments? Vaasi comes from a tribal island. He falls in love with Kavya, a rich girl. He wins her heart and starts living with her in her house. Kavya’s caretaker doesn’t like her to join Vaasi. Did Vaasi marry Kavya after so much of hurdles? The answer makes the crux of the story. Watch the film on the silver screen.

Star Performance

Sayesha Saigal is a great find of Vijay to Tamil film industry. She emotes well, dances well and attracts the audiences well. Prakash Raj hasn’t been utilized well. Jayam Ravi has no space to perform much except doing gymnastics in the jungle.

Analysis

Vijay, who has directed emotional dramas including Madarasapattinam, Deiva Thirumagal and “ Saivam Click to look into! >> Read More... ,” has chosen this tribal setup. However, it has the reference to George of the Jungle, a Hollywood film that released in 1997. Although the subject is a predictable one, Vijay has shown the love between Vaasi and Kavya in a different perception. Vijay should be appreciated for choosing Sayesha as the lead.
