Plot
Eight engineering college students are on tour to woods. Venu is one among them and he is interested in doing Yoga and meditation, while all the others are playful. They all stay in a bungalow in the Anthapuram village. A ghost that resides in the place wants to finish off Vicky, one among the eight students. How Venu saves Vicky and the rest of the friends from the supernatural power forms the crux of the story.
Star Performance
Niranth, the hero has played his part as directed by Kranthi Prasad. But, the rest of them had just stood before the camera and moved the lips to the given dialogue. No emotions on their face!
Analysis
The director has come with an idea to prove that a positive vibe could overtake a negative power. Although his idea is good, he didn’t make the screenplay impressively. The hero speaks with the ghost as if it is his friend and those scenes irk the audiences. The ghost we see in this film is like the ghosts we had seen in the black and white films, several decades old. Except for the ghost house and the woods, nothing impresses in the cinematography section. It is to be noted that the Hollywood cinematographers worked in this film. Similarly, the music didn’t influence much.

If the director had concentrated much on the screenplay and the star selection, Santhoshathil Kalavaram would have been at least an average film.
