Plot
Karthik and Saleem have been buddies, since school days. Karthik misses his school days. So, he plans to have a get-together with his schoolmates after a decade. But, none of them are ready. However, the court announced that there had been some scams involved in the final exams and the 2008 pass-outs should reappear for the exams after attending 3 months of classes in their school. This makes Karthik happy, as he can meet Priyadarshini, whom he loved one-sidedly during his school days. Were all the students able to rewrite their final exams? Was Karthik able to meet Priyadarshini? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Dheena’s performance is commendable. The rest of the stars looked like they were forced to act as teenagers in the school scenes, including Rakshan. Munishkanth and Swetha delivered some decent performances.
Analysis
With a different plot, Yogandran tries to impress the 90s kids. Though the concept is different, the lead stars should have been drilled well for some decent performances. Except for the supporting cast, the lead stars’ performances looked exaggerated and spoiled the flow. The visuals are pretty good and the editing is above average. Sachin’s music is one of the highlights of the film. His BGM is fantastic and refreshing.
