Plot

A senior police officer is suspected to have a connection with the idol trafficking case. His assistant Karthika has gone missing, and many sources have started searching for her. A henchman, Sethu, a cop SI Rajkumar and his team, and a private detective, Nandakumar, are searching for the whereabouts of Karthika. While they all go closer to find Karthika, they find out that a lady doctor who knew Karthika had committed suicide. A nurse reveals some incidents that stun the searching people. Who is Karthika? Where is she now? Who are involved in idol trafficking? Who solved the case? All the questions are answered in the rest of the film.

Star Performance

Kathir, Narain, Natty, and Anandhi did an excellent job. Pratap’s role is simple, yet he has done his best. Pavithra Lakshmi has a good performance-oriented role, and she has done it well. Athmeeya, Vinodhini, and John Vijay fit well in the given roles.

Analysis

In the first quarter, we could see that Kathir’s role is simple and less important. While the film picks up its pace, we can see him getting into the skin of the story. There are enough twists in the latter half. Natty has got a good role, yet he could do better. However, the writing lacks a grip. If the writing had been gripping, then the lead characters would have got a better projection that was needed. The BGM by Dawn is superb and helps the audience travel with the story. Similarly, the cinematography is decent.

Verdict

The film has exciting and thrilling elements, but some scenes lack grip. If you love to watch thrillers, you can definitely try this film.
