Sivakumar is the son of Ganesan. Varadarajan, his grandfather, raised Sivakumar. Varadarajan is a weaver in Kanchipuram. Varadarajan’s son, Murugan is married to Chandrasekharan, a textile showroom owner in Chennai. Ganesan sends Sivakumar to Chennai after he messed up with some cops. Shruti, Chandrasekharan’s niece falls in love with Sivakumar. Later, Murugan is sent out from the house, and Sivakumar – Shruti’s love hangs between the families. What happened next? Was Sivakumar able to solve the issues and marry Shruti?
Adhi looks energetic, and Madhuri is cute. Both of them had given a decent performance. Adhi finds it hard in the emotional scenes but delivers well in the songs. Elango Kumanan did a neat role and impressed the audience. Adithya and Kathir are okay with their roles.
Adhi didn’t bring any fresh script, and the script is a usual one with reuniting the split families. Adhi’s direction is okayish, but he had to improve a bit to make the scenes more engaging. The dance choreography is good. The stars fit well in the roles and that doesn’t have any negative points. Arunraja’s cinematography is cool, and the editing by Deepak is good.
What’s Not There?
Adhi should improve in emotional scenes. The predictable screenplay is one of the drawbacks; however, the film entertains the audience. If those negatives had been cleared, it would have become one of the exciting entertainers of the second half of 2021.
