Plot: The film Mahabalipuram is the story of five friends, who live in Mahabalipuram. Panja, Satish, Kuppan, Othavada and Saamy are the friends who are close to each other. Panja is a sculptor. He is an orphan and he shows his gratitude towards the politician, who saved him once in his childhood. The politician was not a good man and is popular for his anti-social activities. As the politician is the favorite man for Panja, he helps him in his anti-social activities. While on the go, Satish loves Sangeetha and both of their parents are against their love. So, the friends take initiatives to get them married and did it successfully. Panja also falls in love with Maha, a college student. Once the friends got a video clipping and they all watched it. They got terribly shocked while watching the video. After this incident, the newly married couples were dead. After their death, many serious issues started to follow the friends and put them in darkness.
The movie Mahabalipuram has a different story slot and the director has set it with lots of twists and turns. There are some cute incidents shot by the director. Romance and comedy are there in the movie along with the thrill. Romance between Panja and Maha is very well shot and they express their feelings neatly. Efforts by Panja to propose his love on Maha are comically taken; yet it is good.

has taken a great effort to complete this film. All the actors, including Karunakaran, Vetri, Vinayak, Vrithika, Angana, Jaya Kumar and Karthik had performed casually. Music is an Okay type. The movie is not so long and it is one of the best points about this movie.
Among the actors, Vinayak and Vrithika who did the lead roles, strongly stand in the minds of the viewers. People who love to watch the thriller movies can watch it with pleasure.
