The movie, Jennifer Karuppaiyaah, is a directorial venture by Saravana Pandian and stars actor ‘Vasan’. The movie has been taken with the intent to create social awareness. Has the movie managed to reach the target audience? Let us read the review to know.
Plot: The movie’s hero, Vasan, has already lost his parents. He does small chores in his town and ekes out a living. In particular, he attends to works given by a real estate businessman in the town. His life moves on such that the hero is complacently living a life with the minimal income that he has gets. As a twist in the movie, the hero is attracted to the heroine, Mridula. But, he does not convey his love to the heroine. He admires her from a distance. In a development, the hero develops an acquaintance with a person who is close to the real estate businessman. The person wants the hero to clear some documents for him and promises that he will pay a lump sum to the hero, Vasan if the documents are cleared. Driven by a desire to get a huge sum, the movie hero clears the document. This causes anger in the real estate businessman. What is the consequence, and does the hero marry his lover? The rest of the movie answers these questions.
Star Performances: The movie’s hero does not have the attractiveness that is required of a hero. One may expect that he would at least perform well and give a good delivery. But, only disappointment is left. Particularly, he does not fare well in the romantic scenes. One is not able to make out why the director put him in the romantic scenes. The movie’s heroine,
