Star Performance

Analysis
Even though this film focuses on the life of a cop, it is not like a typical cop story that has a lot of violence and action. This movie instead focuses on the more sensitive themes and the softer side of the cop, through his journey as the single father of an autistic child. The cinematography and camera work in the film are excellent, as the visuals are appealing to look at. However, the screenplay lagged a bit, especially the second half. The cast members have all given a great performance. Kishore especially really expressed his emotions well during the emotional scenes. The action choreography for the film was alright but pretty mediocre. The film is too long and would have been better if it was shortened. While some of the songs that Vijay Antony has chosen for the film suit and complement the scenes that they have been used in, some others don’t.
