Plot

Mammootty is a carefree guy and is very rich. Cheers is the name of the Kabaddi team that he manages. He is a bachelor and whiles away his time by taking alcohol with his buddies. Having said that he has lots of affection towards his near and dear ones. What made him an alcoholic? What does the well wishers of Mammootty do to make him come out of the habit? The script is very simple, however the presentation is entertaining.
The first half is impressive.
Vidyasagar’s music is already in the top of the music charts.
Sunoj Velayudhan’s cinematography brings before our eyes the glory of Idukki in a captivating manner.
The romance element and comedy element works in favor of the movie.

What’s not there?

Editing could have been better.
The movie is laced with a predictable plot.

Thoppili Joppan will prove to be a perfect treat to Mammootty’s fans and for the others it is a film that is a mixture of some of the winning elements of Mollywood films.
