Jude is a famous Malayalam film director who was born on 25th April 1983 at Kochi, Kerala. His first film as a director was in the Malayalam film Ohm Shanthi Oshaana. In his childhood, he was active in a mono act and drama. He was the action hero of Biju. Jude started his career with Crazy Gopalan in 2008. He was the assistant director of Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010) and Thattathin Marayothu (2012).

He also directed Yellow Pen and Manmookka’s Biography. He recently joined hands with Nivin Pauly and paired up with him for a new project again. Vineeth Sreenivasan will appear in a pivotal role in the movie and Jude will play the role of a thief. Jude’s next film is Oru Muthashi Gadha. Its movie poster has raised the expectations of his friends and followers.

Born into a family in Kerala, Adoor Gopalakrishnan started doing amateur plays at a young age. Later, he wrote and helmed few plays. His interest in this field was imbibed in him by his family. He had studied Economics, Political Science and Public Administration at Gandhigram Rural University in 1961. Then he studied screenwriting and filmmaking at the Pune Film Institute. His debut film was Swayamvaram, which became a milestone in the history of the Malayalam cinema. The film won four National Awards including Best Script, Best Film, Best Actress and Best Director. His third film Elippathayam fetched him the British Film Institute Award for Most Original and Imaginative Film in 1982. The International Film Critics Prize (FIPRESCI) was offered to him six times with great honour. For his work in Indian Cinema, he was honoured with India’s 4th highest civilian award Padma Shri. He also has a collection of beautifully written essays, which have also won him awards and accolades. He has also been given the French title called ‘The Commander of The Order of Arts and Letters’ which is a matter of great pride. In 2004, he also received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, which was awarded by the Government of India. In the years 1975–1977, he was a member of the advisory board for National Film Archives, Pune. The Helsinki Film Festival was the first film festival to feature his films. A lot of respected titles had Adoor as their main person. A committee called Sivaramakarath, to frame National Policy also had him in it. He was a national film award committee member in 1974. The Venice, Singapore, Hawaii and Delhi Film Festivals had him on the jury. The Kerala Film Festival honoured him well by appointing him as the chairman. The National Film Development Corporation in the years 1980–1983 also appointed him as the head, giving him a chance to showcase his caliber more. He happens to be the director of Pune Film and Television Institute. Adoor has been an inspiration to thousands of aspiring artists who seek to enter this field.

Roopesh Peethambaran is a Malayalam film scriptwriter, director, and actor who climbed the ladder of success by making his debut as a child artist. The actor was first noted in the silver screen for his contribution as a child actor in a Malayalam movie, ‘Spadikam’, that released in 1995. In this Malayalam movie, he played the role a teen named Mohanlal. Later, in 1996, he was even spotted in a TV serial, ‘Pranavam', which aired on the Malayalam Doordarshan channel. In the year 2012, he again made a comeback to the silver screen, but through a different route. He found the chance to make his debut as a screenwriter and director. The first film which he directed was ‘Theevram’, which faced a lukewarm response at the box office, even though it had a very good script. The film was announced in 2011, but only rolled out in 2012. The director made a tie-up with a film director, Lal Jose, for distribution rights, who was already an acclaimed film director. In 2015, he again chose to be a director and wrote the script for another Malayalam movie, which was titled, ‘You Too Brutus’. This was a comedy thriller. The film was a multi-cast movie and the critics had lauded it. Currently, he is working on a untitled project, which would feature Vineeth Sreenivasan, however, the other cast members are yet to be finalized. Roopesh would write the script of this untitled film too. In addition, he plans to work on a biopic on the legendary filmmaker, John Abraham. Plus. He also has plans to direct ‘Mammootty’ in his next venture. The director, actor and screenwriter, Roopesh, was born on 22 August, 1980. He graduated from Bengaluru, and then made his foray into filmmaking.
