Plot

Fukri is the family comedy entertainer that roles around two main characters, Sulaiman Fukri and his grandson Lukman Ali Fukri aka Lucky. Lukman Ali is an engineering dropout. He is a swindle artist. While he was enjoying his life on the go, he is forced to enter the bungalow of Sulaiman Fukri as the son of Ali Fukri. Ali Fukri is the long lost son of Sulaiman Fukri. When Ali Fukri, who lives a nomadic life, returns home, he finds Lukman playing his son. He uses Lucky as a weapon against his father. Star Performances

Jayasurya is always a show stealer. His timely performances had made huge successes and we hope, Fukri would be one among them. Siddique, Bagath Manuel, Prayaga and all the others have lived in the characters given to them.

Analysis

Siddique, who made his entry in King Liar starring “ Dileep” and Madonna Sebastian has not chosen a unique story this time. It is a regular story, which the Mollywood audiences had been watching for decades.

What’s There?

  • The performances of the stars is a big plus
  • Family values and sentiments have been used pretty well in this romcom
  • Comedy timing of Jayasurya is impressive

What’s Not There?

  • Regular story with Predictable scenes is the big drawback

Verdict

Although the script is dipped in an old genre, it turns gold with the performance of the stars. This family entertainer would never deceive you and it is worthy of the money spent. Get the tickets! You will enjoy it for sure!
