Plot
Basheer is the only one in the village, who knows to assemble the TV sets. It was the period, where TV Sets were seen as luxury products. Suhra’s family gets a TV Set and Basheer is called upon to assemble and operate the TV Set. In a couple of meetings, Basheer and Suhra fell for each other. It is to be noted that the TV Set is from Dubai and it is sent by Usman, the would-be husband of Suhra. However Suhra – Basheer love is nurtured by Suhra’s granny. What happens next? Whom did Suhra marry, Usman or Basheer? Watch the film in theaters.
Star Performances
Sheela plays the granny of Sana Althaf. The veteran has emoted well and done her part without any flaws. Farhaan has improvised his performance in his second film. Sana Althaf should improve her dialogue delivery. Madhu plays the grandpa of Sana and he has pulled his role well, as usual. Manikandan Achari had performed excellently well.
Analysis
The script and the screenplay are good. At the same time, the dialogues in some places seem to be a bit dramatic. For such a casual story, the dialogues are the big plus. But, Aneesh didn’t concentrate much on the dialogues. If he had concentrated in dialogues, then the film might have been much crisper.

Verdict
Basheerinte Premalekhanam tries to bring out some nostalgic moments, but it fails to make it except in a few scenes. The script and the screenplay impress but not the movie. However, we could not conclude that it is a bad film. It could be watched once!
