If you are passionate about cricket then here is good news for you. Debutant story writer and director Subhash Kapoor brings you the story of four boys who are crazy about the sport.

Say Salaam India basically revolves around cricket. Four talented boys have a great fervor towards cricket, and they pursue the education in a school where wrestling is given priority. Guru Surinder Huda, the guru of the local school, feels that cricket is a taboo. Then the story journeys to a school in Delhi, Royal Heritage, where Hari Sadu is the coach of the cricket team. But the members of the team dislike the goody-goody Hari Sadhu. Eventually, Hari is replaced by Harry Oberoi. What is the connection between the local corporation team and Hari Sadhu? Well,wWatch the movie to know more.

Subhash Kapoor, the director, debuts with this movie. There is no great twist in the movie and the old mantra of good over evil makes it quite boring. The story has poor music, and the romantic numbers are totally lost in a sports genre drama.

Star Performance

Sanjay Suri is really good as the subtle coach who wants to bring a change. Milind Soman with his messy looks is not much of flashy as the role should bring. Sandhya Mridul as the supporting wife makes the movie worth watching while Manoj Pahwa makes us laugh.

What’s there?

•  A good cast with good acting.
•  As only a few Sports themed movies are there this movie is a treat for Cricket lovers.

What is not there?

•    The storyline is cliché and not worth much.
•    Bad music with unnecessary drama.
•    The movie is quite preachy sometimes.

The motive of the director to make a good cricket movie is good and he has achieved it to some extent.
