Raaz Reboot is a romantic thriller movie directed by Vikram Bhatt, renowned for his horror genre. The star cast in the lead role is done by, Kriti Kharbanda (debut movie in Bollywood) and Gaurav Arora. It is a movie about a couple, who venture to a new place in Romania, encompassed by mysteries, secrets and human frailties.

Rehan (Gaurav Arora) and Shaina (Kriti Kharbanda) are the married couple who venture to a new place in Romania due to a good offer and resides in a secluded house. Both of them start to hide something from each other and end up losing their intimacy. Shaina finds that her house is haunted and speaks to her husband Rehan about it but he is not convinced. She then talks about the matter to her ex named Aditya ( Emraan Hashmi) who believes her words and tries to find a solution to the problem.

From their initial releases Raaz1 -3, this seems to one of the kind with very slight variations here and there. The title ‘Raaz Reboot,’ has nothing to do with the film, but would surely be a reboot to the actor Emraan Hashmi. Romania’s beauty is captured by the camera and projected well in the film. It is a beautiful highlight of the film. Overall performance by the artist is good.

Star performance:

Emraan Hashmi is back with a bang. He has given a top-notch performance in the film. Kriti Kharbanda, Kannada actress, debuts into Bollywood and looks stunning throughout the film, especially in the horror sequences. Gaurav Arora acting is also good in the movie. Direction by "The King of Horror Cinema in India," Vikram Bhatt, could have been better.

What’s there?

  1. Cinematography of Romania is eye catching, credits to Manoj Soni.
  2. Music by Jeet Gaanguli is very soulful.

What’s not there?

  1. The CGI used in a couple of scenes is not up to the mark.
  2. The movie fails to give the expected goosebumps by the horror-loving audiences.
  3. BGM, which is very essential for horror films, could have been innovative.

People who love Emraan Hashmi can watch the movie.
