Plot
Vaishali is a journalist. She learns about a shelter home in Bihar, and starts investigating. She finds out that girls are being abused at the shelter. While trying to expose the home, Vaishali faces a lot of obstacles, including threatening the family. With the help of a bold girl, Sudha, and a police officer, SSP JasmeetKaur, Vaishali fights against the people who are involved in the abuse. Was she able to bring them to the light? The rest of the film uncovers the case.
Star Performance
Bhumi Pednekar has been picking strong-performance-oriented scripts, and this time, too, she did the same and succeeded. Sai Tamhankar performed well, despite the fact that her character is weak. Sanjay Misha and Aditya Srivastava are good performers, but they didn’t get strong roles to perform.
Analysis
Exposing the culprits in society under the name of social service enthusiasts is good. But the characters should’ve been strongly penned. The antagonist’s character is not penned in-depth. The same goes for Sai’s JasmeetKaur. If her character had been penned well, her performance would’ve been elevated, significantly. Despite the good performances, some parts of the film didn’t get elevated due to the weak narration. The film is technically sound.
