Make Or Break April For Bollywood?

Life has come full circle for Bollywood.

In April 2025, Hindi cinema has a golden chance to make it count, and restore the lost glory with one blockbuster after the other. The first quarter has been okayish for the Hindi film industry, ‘Chhaava’ being the only major exception. With a worldwide revenue of more than 770 crores, the movie is all set to beat ‘Stree 2’ to become the second highest grossing Hindi movie of all time, only behind ‘Pushpa 2’.

Apart from ‘Chhaava’, only Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sky Force’ and John Abraham’s ‘ The Diplomat Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ managed to do decent business at the box office. ‘The Diplomat’ surprised many, despite having negligible marketing, and low buzz. The movie, made on a modest budget of 20 crores, is now on the verge of earning almost 40 crores worldwide, with a net domestic collection of 30 crores, despite severe competition from other films.

Now with Sunny Deol’s ‘JAAT’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, and Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Ground Zero’, Bollywood has a solid chance to prove its worth, as well as earn major bucks from the box office.
