Plot
Ratodi is a town in Mathura. It is controlled by Kakuda, a dwarf clown’s spirit. The spirit needs prey every Tuesday. To avoid getting his curse, the people leave a small door open in their houses. If they fail to do so, they have to face severe consequences. Sunny and his father had escaped from the curse until Sunny got married. Sunny came home late on the day of his marriage to Indira, and now he has become the victim. The curse is that he would die on the 13th day. However, Indira, who doesn’t believe these superstitions, approaches Victor, a ghost hunter. Will the ghost-busting plans succeed and save Sunny? The rest of the film focuses on Victor’s ghost attack plans.
Star Performance
Riteish is a good performer, but how he chose to do this role is a big question. Sonakshi delivered a decent performance. The rest of the performances are not much impressive.
Analysis
The script may look good while reading. However, the screenplay and execution are the main things that elevate the story. The writing lacks grip. Poorly written characters made the actors’ performances dull. Except for a few dialogues, especially the one by Aasif Khan, the rest didn’t have any impact. When a person’s life is at risk, then the emotions should be adequate to impress the audience and make the scene lively. Those are not present in Kakuda. The makers did a good job while showing Kakuda. The only character that’s written well in this film is Kakuda. The backstory of Kakuda is decent.

Verdict
The film didn’t give us a horror or spooky feeling, except for a couple of scenes. If you are Sonakshi’s fan, you can try!
