Plot
In Rautu Ki Beli, Sangeetha, the warden of a Sevadham School, was seen dead mysteriously. Initially, it was guessed that she died naturally, but slowly, the investigations reveal that it was a planned murder. Station House Officer Deepak Singh Negi is the investigation officer who suffers from PTSD. Who killed Sangeetha? Will Negi catch the culprit? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is impressive in his role as SHO Negi. His interrogation scenes are neat. Rajesh Kumar delivers a neat performance. Narayani Shastri and Atul Tiwari are convincing with their performances.
Analysis
The story starts slowly and later picks up the right pace. The narration is quite decent. However, the writing could’ve been better. The subplots are penned well, especially the one with Rajat and Diya, the visually challenged students. The backstories are penned neatly and it adds an extended strength to the plot. The visuals are excellent, and the editing is above average. The story’s setting in the village atmosphere is eye-soothing. Though there are some flaws in the execution, the makers managed to tie the audience till the end.
