The name ' Happy Husbands' gives us a hint that the script is all about marriage-related scenes. The film focuses on the life of three couples.
Mukundan Menon (Jayaram) is a journalist running a successful magazine called, “ Kerala Today”, and his wife, Krishnendu (Bhavana), keeps doubting him as he never expresses his love towards her, even though Mukundan is a loyal husband.
The second couple is Rahul (Indrajith), who is a business tycoon, and his wife Shreya (Samvrutha). Rahul keeps his wife happy by giving her gifts daily and being romantic. However, Rahul is cheating on his wife.
Krishnendu forces Mukundan to be like Rahul as she is unaware of Rahul's deeds. A photographer, Johnny (Jayasurya), who works in the Kerala Today magazine loved Sareena (Vandana). The story takes a twist with the entry of Diana (Rima Kallingal), a bar dancer who trips Mukundan and later Mukundan, asks Johnny to act as if he is married to Diana, because Mukundan's wife catches him once with Diana. To escape from this, Johnny pretends to be married to Diana.
Later, when he wants to marry Sareena, lots of chaos occurs. To enjoy the comedic chaos, watch out for Happy Husbands.
Saji Surendran, a television director, comes up with a Malayalam movie full of comedy and chaos. Also, the blockbuster hit movie, ‘ No Entry’ is based on this film. The story revolves around the life of three husband's and their wives. There is lots of spiced up comedy in the script.
Jayaram acts very pleasantly, as a faithful and loyal husband. Rima Kallingal drives the movie with her beautiful looks. Jaysurya, who plays the role of a photographer, has a good sense of humor. Indrajith has great physique in the film, and although he has the shortest part, he nailed it. The women, on the other hand, look flawless, and Samvritha looks amazing.
