Ahwaan Kumar

Ahwaan Kumar is an Indian TV and movie actor. This good looking actor won acclaim by winning a contest called, ‘He-Man’, telecasted at STAR One channel, in 2005. He has subsequently acted in various serials and shows. His conventional good looks have also got him a lot of print ads since, especially of Mayur Suitings, and of some Government socio- cause campaigns. He didn’t stop there as he also appeared in TV commercials for hair oil, tooth powder and men’s wear etc.

He then leapt to work in big screen. His first Hindi movie was titled ‘Happy Husband’ where he displayed his multi-talented façade. This movie was released on March 25, 2011 and tanked before creating any ripple.

Even after being a part of the entertainment and glamour industry for a long time, he still claims himself as an introvert and he usually likes to sit quietly at sets during shootings. He has great respect for his parents as they constantly encourage him to keep up the momentum and not to slow down. In his own words, he has summarized it by saying, ‘If there is any person I have to say thanks it would be my parents. I am very very grateful to them and they have done a lot for me, especially my father, who supported me mentally more than financially. You need more when you are living alone in Mumbai and want to become a part of this industry.’
