Plot
Dev Ambre is a rebellious cop. He informs his senior officer that he has solved a murder case and found the killer. All of a sudden, he loses his memory in an accident. Was that planned one or an accident? Will Dev get back his memory? Who is the murderer? Was that important case closed? All these questions are answered in the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Shahid Kapoor lived in the character. He managed to differentiate between the two courses of his character: before the accident and after the accident. Pooja Hegde didn’t have an intense role, yet she had a decent job to do in the film, which she did to her satisfaction. Kubbra has done a good job and left a solid impression. Pravesh Rana and Pavai Gulati have done justice to their roles.
Analysis
Rosshan Andrrews has given a solid action entertainer with powerful performance from Shahid and the team. The film has done justice to the original with Shahid’s character. His body language, mannerisms and dialogue delivery are the biggest plus points. The characters are designed well and proper actors are placed in the roles perfectly. However, there are a few flaws in the narration. Dev’s childhood and his father’s behavior are shown, but not fully focused. Amit’s visuals are excellent, and Jakes Bejoy’s BGM is stunning. Kudos to the stunt masters, who designed intense action sequences.
