Pravesh Rana is an Indian model, anchor and an actor who became popular for joining reality television shows. He was born on February 26, 1984 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. He studied at St. Mary’s Academy in Meerut and later, he graduated B.A. in Economics in Ramjas College, Delhi University. Initially, he works as a senior quality advisor in IBM. He moved to Mumbai in 2007 to enter the entertainment industry.

His fondness for mimicry has gained him work as an anchor in various stage shows and so far, he has done over 600 events and shows around India and abroad. Pravesh also won in the Haywards 5000 Mr. India 2008 which was held at Hotel Intercontinental in Mumbai. Besides winning the title, he also got the Mr. Best Body, Mr. Groovy Voice and Mr. Talented awards. He also works as an anchor in channels like Zoom, Colors, Bindass and STAR Plus. He also donned several ramp shows for top designers like , , , Manish Malhorta and more. He has been part of various major fashion events in India including the Wills India Fashion Week, Couture Fashion Week, Lakme Fashion Week and Men’s Fashion Week. Pravesh was always the first choice for many leading brands to become their model and anchor.

He also joined the reality television show, 3. He auditioned and luckily, he was accepted and entered the house on the 33rd day as a wild card entry. The hunk model became the first runner-up at the end of the show. After Bigg Boss, he hosted various shows in the Indian television including the seasons 2 and 3 of the reality show, Emotional Atyachar on Bindass channel. He also hosted various awards shows like Golden Petal Awards, Screen Awards for Bollywood, Indian Television Awards and more. He is also preparing for Mr. International which will be held in China.

Besides anchoring and doing advertising campaigns, Pravesh is now focusing in doing good films projects. He attended some acting and action workshops to develop his skills in acting. Later, he was debuted as an actor in the box-office Bollywood romantic thriller film, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns and essayed the role of Param Pratap Singh in 2013. The model turned actor is currently waiting for another big Bollywood break to come his way.

Pravesh stands 6 foot and 2 inches with an eight pack abs and he is currently single. He also say no to doing television soap since he never watch and could not relate to any of it.
