Sachet was a music teacher at SRS (Shri Ram Swaroop) Memorial Public School, Lucknow. Sachet Tondon and Parampara Thakur reached the grand finale of the singing reality show, The Voice India during 2015. Both of them formed their musical duo in 2016. Sachet worked with a band called Healers, before he participated in the singing reality show The Voice India.

He began his training in Indian Classical music at the age of seven and mastered it until he was 15. Sachet took lessons of Sugam Sangeetha from well-known Ustad Yugantar Sindoor for eight years. Sachet has even been a disciple under the guidance of popular musician Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan (Padma Bhushan honored), of Rampur.

He got introduced to Parampara Thakur during the singing reality show, The Voice India’s Season 1. Sachet managed to reach semi-finals and Parampara was among one of the finalists of the show. Sachet and Parampara lost their contact after the show was over.
