Plot
Naina is a young entrepreneur. When she was on a business trip, she had to face some unexpected things in her life. She finds herself locked in a room and in that room, she witnesses her lover Arjun’s dead body. Eventually, the police arrest her for murdering him. Naina contacts her lawyer Jimmy, who suggests a senior lawyer Badal Gupta to solve this case. Badal Gupta meets Naina and starts discussing with her regarding the case. He finds a lot of twists in the case, after Naina’s confession. Who is the real murderer? Did Naina escape from the case? How Arjun came there? Who locked Naina? Watch the film in theaters to get the answers.
Star Performance
Amitabh had performed excellently well, as usual. Taapsee had once again proved that she could do any roles with ease. Her character has different shades and in each shade, her expressions and the body language changes a lot. Good work, Taapsee! Amrita and Manav had done their part satisfyingly.
Analysis
Although Badla is the remake of the Spanish film, the director has completely changed the script to suit the Indian sensibilities. The screenplay and the dialogues are worth mentioning. The dialogue writer

Taapsee and Amitabh are the right choices and their chemistry is excellent too. Characterization is superb and the stars lived in the characters. While we know about Naina’s different shades, we will be shocked. Thanks to the director, who has maintained the thrill well.
