Making a career in the film industry and then keeping it the same is not easy, some succeed in it and some fail. Same way this actor earned his name by his hardworking skills and long lasting spirit. He contributed to the industry as a dialogue and a story writer. With his experience of more than 24 years in writing, he has given a lot to the industry. He has written for many people like Satish Kaushik, Anubhav Sinha etc, and production houses like Venus, Viacom 18, and Tandev Films, etc. His career also included writing of around 600 Gazals and creating Jingles for companies such as PepsiCo and PVR. He is known as a dialogue writer for the films “Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene”; it was a Hindi comedy thriller film and ‘Warning’, it was also a thriller 3d movie. And also worked as a screenplay writer for the same. He also worked as a writer in ‘Surkhaab’. Recently at the International Film Awards held in Noida, this great dialogue writer received an award on behalf of Summit Suri for the Best Supporting Actor (Male). After his work for the movies, he is also remembered for the film “Dal: The Gang” in the year 2001. He also happened to play a role in the film. The movie is about five different friends from completely different religious backgrounds who were living in the slum which was to be demolished by a landlord, and the prevention was only by paying Rs. 2 Crores to the landlord. In his recent works, can be counted the TV series ‘Dahleez’, which was broadcasted on Star Plus. This show was a romantic, drama which was based in Delhi with a total of 104 episodes. In which, the male lead was an IAS officer and the female lead was in the role of a lawyer. Rajesh Chawla was the writer of this television series with Farhan Salaaruddin. This series was aired from 14th of March to 26th of June 2016 everyday on Star Plus.

He is an Indian writer, scriptwriter and an entrepreneur. He came in lime light through his latest film Rustom(2016). Besides movies, he has also left his impression on television industry with Vicky Ki Taxi. His documentary named Audi Alteram Parten got nominated at the Stuttgart Film Festival, Germany for the Best Documentary and Audience Choice award. Apart from these, he also writes for magazines, newspapers, websites and has also written a book "Film Ki Kahani Kaise Likhe" under Rajkamal Prakashan publishing house. He was born on 7 November 1968 in Surendranagar, Gujrat. Before landing into the writer's world, he worked as a sailor in Indian Navy. He took his basic training at INS Chilika. Soon he came in the film industry to try his hand at script writing. He even left his engineering so that he could give all his attention to the film industry. He used to watch South Indian movies too. Later he decided to make a move in film writing. He got married to Sindhu Nair in 1993 and had two children named Anuj and Aahaan. His work in movies is as follows. He wrote a Bollywood comedy film starring Himesh Reshammiya, Niharika Singh, and Rakesh Bapat named A New Love Ishtory(2013). Besides movies, he wrote a documentary based on the implementation of the Srikrishna Commission named Audi Alteram Partam (which means listen to the other side). His most notable movie is Akshay Kumar and Ileana D'Cruz starring Rustom (2016). This movie is a mystery crime thriller inspired by the life of naval officer K. M. Nanavati and his wife's lover Prem Ahuja. The story writing, direction, and performance of each artist is commendable. Also, Akshay Kumar won the National Film Award for Best Actor at the 64th National Film Awards (2017). He also wrote a short film Mumbai Varanasi Express (2016). Apart from movies, he wrote a TV show named Vicky Ki Taxi(2009).His upcoming movie is about a boy(Ahaan) who has down's syndrome and who is made to live up with his uncle.Adil Hussain will be playing the role of an uncle, who is also a patient of obsessive compulsive disorder. He is also running his e-commerce and recruitment consultancy chain named eBiz India. It provides recruitment in foreign language jobs.
