. He went at Film and Television Institute of India to study cinematography. He is a receptionist of three National Film awards for ‘Patalghar (2003)’, ‘Bhalo Theko (2004)’, and ‘Antaheen (2009)’. He also received Filmfare Award in 2021 for Best cinematography for ‘Gulabo Sitabo’.
