Mohammad's desire to be a director began at the age of 17. He did his film studies at the esteemed Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. Following his graduation from FTII, he started his career as an assistant director, contributing to various films, including "Kahaani" (2012), a thriller story revolving around a man tormented by a ghost, and "Badlapur" (2015).
