Babloo is a middle-aged man, who is yet to get married. Babloo’s family had a matchmaking event with Avantika. He liked her much and their marriage is fixed. But, when the marriage arrangements were going on a full swing, Avantika asked Babloo to reject her and cancel the wedding. Without revealing it to his family, Babloo stopped the marriage. After a while, he meets Swati and their families decided to get them married. After getting married, Swati gets an opportunity to get popular in the entertainment industry. So, she leaves him and moves to Mumbai, writing a letter explaining about all these. When Babloo wants her back, Swati’s efforts put him in the police lockup. Avantika helps him get of the trouble. Now, Babloo once again falls for Avantika. What will be his decision? Will Avantika accept him? The rest of the story deals with this.
Sharman Joshi is excellent in his role. Pooja Chopra and Tejashri are decent with their performances. The rest of the stars had also done justice to the given roles.
The screenplay is not impressive and the scenes seem to be a bit stretchy. This is the biggest drawback in the film. Some emotional scenes have come out well. The BGM is good and the songs are okayish. The characters are designed well and right stars are engaged.
What’s Not There?
If the film is shot without stretching the scenes, it might have attracted the audience. Babloo Bachelor – an okayish watch!
