Travelling is the most world-wide therapy to heel a withered soul. Bollywood is a connection with our lives. It makes movies which are dream like sometimes, and sometimes which are encouraging enough. The movies let us escape the reality and be in our world. There are times when some movies have so strong story that we forget everything, and want to live in that life. Some movies have made us mark locations on our travel list. These movies are:
1. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
This movie is all about friendship, travel, and how to find one self. The movie focuses on the trip to Spain, and has made us take a virtual tour of it. The trip starts with a road trip, and then events like Tomatina festival, deep sea diving, sky fall, and Spanish dance takes place which makes us feel like we know the whole city.
Kangana Ranaut wins our hearts in this movie. This simple girl, whose marriage was cancelled decides not to waste her honeymoon tickets, and goes on a solo trip to Paris and Amsterdam. She there conquers her insecurities and makes new friends. Goes on boat rides in Paris, and strip club in Amsterdam.
This movie was a flop, but it carried a great message. The actors here made us wander the whole blissful city of Corsica. The blue water, the mountain, steep roads, and the streets were eye candy, and we all have made this city at the top of our list to visit next.
Dil Chahta Hai
It is because of this movie that Goa is not the only destination for the youth to have fun, although most of the Goa plans are a no-show. The movie is the first one to show the bonding between friends, and how they have wandered the whole Goa having fun.
5. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge
This movie is famous for true love, but the travel freaks can see the destinations. The movie had us all visit Europe and Punjab all at once. The scenic beauty of Europe and the yellow fields of Punjab made us all curious for these destinations.
This movie is a magical trip to both, the kidnapped bride-to-be and the viewers. The movie unveiled the ravishing beauty of Himachal by capturing the views of the Aru Valley, Sangla Valley, and Chandanwari. The trek freaks, and nature enthusiasts must have marked these locations carefully.
Dil Dhadakne Do
The movie was about family disputes and compromises, but we saw some beautiful locations of Spain, Turkey, and Tunisia. The oceanic view was eye pleasing, and because the movie was shot on a cruise ship, the ocean lovers got their paradise.
This movie is again about love and fight scenes, but if we look carefully, the director put the scenic beauty in a very beautiful way. The Dudhsagar Falls of Goa was amazingly shot, and a full view was given. Also, Kerala’s beauty was highlighted like the lush grounds of Munnar, etc.
9. Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani
This movie is again the one that gives travel and friendship goals. The movie begins with a trip to Manali, and we all were astounded by the view. From the trek to the streets, the destination is one wonderful place to visit. It is a paradise of Himachal Pradesh.
Jab We Met
This movie is all about the train and travelling. The director gives us views of cities like Mumbai, Bhatinda, Kota, Ratlam, Shimla, and Manali. Each city is a stopping point, and the couple then wanders in the city giving the travel freaks spots to visit.
