Plot
Shrirenu Tripathi is a Sanskrit professor who is unmarried at 42. He develops a relationship with Madhu, a French instructor. She is 32 and is unmarried. Their families and society question their bonding. Will they take their relationship to the next level? The rest of the film follows this.
Star Performance
Madhavan is cool as ever. Fatima Sana Sheikh is decent in her role. Their chemistry is really good.
Analysis
The script discusses compatibility, romantic relationships that differ from each other, and interpersonal equality. Started with the mindset of the mid-40s men, it jumped to patriarchy, which had been discussed in many of Dharma Productions’ movies. Age shaming is discussed here, which is a good idea. Though the core idea is good, the narration didn’t get deeper into the subject. It didn’t speak about the age-gap love, but they touched something on its surface.

Despite having flaws in the execution, the film has its good heart-warming moments. For the chemistry of Maddy and Fatima, it is watchable once!
