Plot
Subedar Arjun is a retired soldier who finds it hard to adapt to a normal life. Prabhakar, his friend who runs a security agency, provides him with a job. Prince and Softy are linked to the sand mafia, and Arjun crosses paths with them. Babli Didi, the stepsister of Prince is the original mastermind behind the mafia. She is in jail and operating the business effortlessly. Arjun lost his wife to a sand truck accident, which made him lose his temper often. Prabhakar is the one who always stands by him. Arjun’s daughter, Shyama, has issues in college. Meanwhile, Arjun is humiliated by Prince, who also damages his car. What happens next forms the rest of the story!
Star Performance
Anil Kapoor fits well in the role and strengthens the character, Arjun. His anger, frustration, and grief are so natural and believable. Radhika Madan is quite good in her role of Shyama. Saurabh Shukla is good as Prabhakar. Faisal did a good job. Aditya Rawal is excellent in his role, and his expressions are impressive. Mona Singh is perfect in her role as Babli and leaves a significant impact.
Analysis
The plot is interesting and gripping. The narrative is decent, but it loses pace during the climax. The confrontation scenes feel slightly stretched. The locations are good, and the art direction is quite decent, too. There is enough emotional weight. The characters are well-written, and the right actors are engaged. The direction is decent and convincing. The visuals are good, and the BGM blends well with the screenplay.
