Plot: There is a book of secret disposition which apparently keeps within it treasure of secrets regarding mankind and humanity. A man named Eli has taken upon himself to protect this highly precious book for which he has to fight across America.
What you may like:
1. This movie is one of the most celebrated examples of a film dealing with post apocalyptic theme and has done justice to it.
2. Anyone who enjoys a film that can possibly imagine a world after the much talked about apocalypse then this movie should be one of those topping their list.
3. For all those who were expecting some religious propaganda behind the movie will be thoroughly surprised because it has a good amount of action sequences making it very entertaining and absorbing.
4. This movie is vibrant in its appeal and is very much watchable for all those who enjoy movie talking about the apocalypse.
What you may dislike:
1. Even though this movie is a good example of a film dealing with the theme of apocalypse, this may not appeal to many atheists and Christians.
2. The movie has a lot of twists and turns which may have made it engaging but there comes a point when you may become weary of the mindless and logic defying twists in the plot.
3. Despite having more number of goods than bads, its ending is something you will lose patience at. The ending of the movie is considered to be extremely stretchy and long making it probably the longest and slowest one in the history of cinema.
4. The movie may seem slightly uneven and therefore may make you lose your interest at some point.
Verdict: You may enjoy the movie for all the action sequences it has to offer and everything shall seem nice until the ending. Therefore, this movie can be a one time watch.
