Plot: A skeptical wife who professionally is a doctor hires a girl to woe her husband in order to check his loyalty towards her. Little do they know that they've given way to some havoc in their family.
What you may like:
1. This movie is largely about a girl seducing another guy, with lots of nudity involved. Therefore, this movie is not so much a thriller but an erotic film with steaming hot scenes.
2. Amanda Seyfried is an extremely innocent looking girl but has emerged as a surprise package in the film. She has really taken everybody aback owing to the kind of hot and sensual scenes that she has engaged herself in for the movie. This became one of the least expected points of the film.
3. The entire movie reels you into some really nerve-wracking thriller and keeps you totally engaged throughout the movie.
4. The characters in the film are portrayed as being very complex and unique. Keeping that in mind, the actors did a very commendable job, completely justifying each and every role at hand.
What you may dislike:
1. To keep the thrill of the movie alive, the directors thought of keeping the pace of the movie slow. But in doing that, the pace became far too slow, and their by tested the patience of the audience.
2. ‘Chloe’ was a remake of ‘Nathalie' which was a French movie. Although, there is absolutely nowhere that the filmmakers mention this fact. This film and its script, therefore, becomes a piece of art that is rather plagiarized, and its originality remains a big question.
3. This film being a thriller should ideally not be predictable, but it was for the most part just that. You could see the twists coming from quite far which spoilt the whole fun of watching a thriller movie in the first place.
Verdict: It is a different movie, an erotic thriller by genre. You can give it a watch if thriller with sensuality attracts you.
