John William Ferrell was born on July 16th 1967.  He first rose in popularity as an official cast member on Saturday Night Live.  Ferrell was born in Irvine, California to a teacher and a musician. Ferrell has a younger brother named Patrick.  In 1975, Ferrell’s parents filed for divorce to which Will made the best of it.  Will’s father did not have a steady income and was hardly home and this motivated Ferrell not to get a job in show business but rather a stable day job.  Will Ferrell was a kicker for his high school’s football team and he was also on the soccer team as well as a captain for the basketball team.  In his senior year, he and his friend would perform skits over the school’s intercom system.  Will Ferrell graduated from USC with a degree in Sports Information in 1990.  After failin...
