Introduction: The last movie that I watched of

was “Me Myself and Irene”, and there she was cute and fresh as a daisy but in CASE 39 we find her in a role of a tired child services worker who has already meted out with 38 cases.
Plot: This movie also has a story but don’t be mistaken, We are not talking about the main story NO!HEAVENS, NO! But the story behind this movie that already had commenced in 2006 then got shelved for few years and then finally threw itself on the big screen in the year 2010. Now, coming back to the story, and what story? I don’t know what to say, it is strange, intriguing(but not the way we like). Our child services worker lands up at a home which probably looks like her case 39. The case is of a small child Lillith who does not share a lovely bond with her parents(well neither do I with the movie). It is revealed that her parents think her to be deranged or that a supernatural developing around their kid. This has a fresh twist that was much awaited. As we approach the conclusion, it gets much more twisty but remember, stale. And then it's revealed that the girl Lillith herself is a demon and our protagonist has to do something about it(well she could not do justice to the movie so let this be a bygone). The rest of the story is about how she saves herself from the demonic child(R.I.P Exorcist).
Review: Although this movie has accolades from few people for its gripping twists and turns and many claim it to be the new “EXORCIST”(seriously?). But it is stale and believe me if you have seen enough horror that made you jump and shit your pants, this movie is not the real deal. And hold your horns!! This movie has already not done that much damage. It introduces us to a new character who I don’t know why, thought that doing this movie would be fun. As you still guess about the character, we have

, who comes up and take the stage as a psychiatrist. He does a check on Lillith but instead gets threatened by her(sort of ill omens that scare our beloved Brady!) and later on mysteriously killed by hornets(SIGH!).
Conclusion: Please! Watch this movie if you have got a soft heart for Zellweger or you wanted the girl in Exorcist to die rather and not be cured. If you do not have any soft corner for the director, then save yourselves, not from the evil entity but this movie.
