I have always admired a quote that says “Friends are the family you choose” and have believed it holds a significant value in life whereas in my case I believe it is slightly different as I did not choose them but they did and made me a part of their family. when I mean friends they are the ones who felt that I have potentials and I am capable of doing something through music thereby enlarging my friends’ circle who follow my works and never give up on me at any point. Today looking back into my journey as a musician, the beginning of which might look predestined for being born into the family of legends will somehow let their offspring acquire there gifts. However, it was not a bed of roses for me when I had to strike the musical chords individually thanks to the Aura created by my father-mentor Isaignani Ilayaraja that imparted some confidence on directors to bank their hopes on me. I thank each and every filmmaker, producer, actor and technicians, who strongly believe that my music will enhance the values of their films. If not there persistent support, the gift of being loved by many would have not been possible.
