Will The Edappadi Government Grant Entertainment Tax Exemption To The Cinema?

Yesterday the Tamil Film Producers’ Council President, Vishal Reddy and the main heads of the film industry met the CM “Edappadi K Palaniswami” to give exemption from the entertainment tax. Following the failure of the talks with the CM, Vishal and team have decided to meet the CM again, today. They are highly expecting a positive reply from the government. However, the theater strike will continue, announced Abirami Ramanathan. Till the government gives exemption from the entertainment tax, the theater strike will continue, announced the President of the Film Chamber of Commerce. Vishal said that to avoid the double taxation, they are requesting the government to exempt them from entertainment tax. Will Vishal and team succeed? Let us wait and watch!
