Will Sanjay Leela Bhansali Direct Kaththi Remake?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the Maverick director, was last seen directing the super hit film “Padmaavat.” The film has the star cast of Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Amidst a huge opposition for the content, the film released last year and it collected well at the box office, worldwide. The latest news about Sanjay Leela Bhansali is that he has acquired the remake rights of “Kaththi,” scripted and directed by “A R Murugadoss.” The film that has Thalapathy “Vijay” and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles was a runaway hit. The film was remade in Telugu as “Khaidi Number 150” with “Chiranjeevi,” and it was also a super hit. Now it is not clear if Sanjay Leela Bhansali will direct the Hindi version of Kaththi. He has just acquired the Hindi remake rights as a producer and hadn't announced anything about the direction part.
