Director Maniratnam is looking out for a co-producer for the Telugu version. Dulquer walked out to make himself available for Pratap Pothen’s Malayalam film. Keerthy personally visited Maniratnam to tell him she would not suit the role and the ace director took her word for it. Saiyami is the Mirziya actress who has done the Telugu film Reya.

The film is said to be a revenge drama featuring Karthi, Nani and Nithya Menen. Saiyami’s role is a brief one. There have been a lot of changes in the project and so nothing is confirmed. Shooting was slated for December, but after the decision to make it a bilingual, which was only 2 weeks back, the project is getting slightly delayed. Let’s wait and watch.
