Vijay Sethupathi’s Merkku Thodarchi Malai!

Vijay Sethupathi is among the few crowd pullers of Kollywood. Most of his films attract the family audiences. Besides acting in the films, he took an avatar as a producer with “Orange Mittai.” Although the film is not a commercial hit, it grabbed the attention of the critics, who lauded Vijay’s performance. Now, he has started his next production venture, “Merkku Thodarchi Malai.” Lenin Bharathi directs this film and “Ilayaraja” composes the music. Besides this Vijay Sethupathi is gearing up for his third production venture under the direction of Premkumar, who is the cinematographer of “Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom.” Premkumar has joined the list of cinematographers turned directors. We have already got excellent cinematographers Thankar Bachchan, “K V Anand” and Rajiv Menon as wonderful directors. Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi’s “Iraivi” directed by Karthik Subbaraj has been released today. The film also has “S. J. Surya,” Kamalinee Mukherjee, “Anjali” and Bobby Simha in prominent roles.
