,” the popular actor, director and screenplay writer passed away today at 4 pm. Visu made his entry into the cinema as an assistant to veteran director K Balachander. He made his debut as an actor in Kudumbam Oru Kadambam in the year 1981. He had directed a lot of movies and his first one is Kanmani Poonga. Manal Kayiru, Dowry Kalyanam, Chidambara Ragasiyam, Thirumathi Oru Vegumathi, Kavalan Avan Kovalan, Penmani Aval Kanmani, Sakalakala Sammanthi, Vedikkai En Vaadikkai and Vaa Magale Vaa are some of his hit movies.
His last directorial venture came in the year 2001 with Sigamani Ramamani featuring “S Ve Shekar” and “
