starrer Echarikkai Idhu Manithargal Nadamadum Idam released on 23rd August. The film received a mixed response and hence it didn’t reach the wide range of audiences. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar slammed the paid reviews on her Twitter post. Varalaxmi thanked the audiences who visited the theaters and gave the team amazing positive response. She said on her Twitter post that the movie did not have a famous music director, a big budget or even a fancy producer which makes the movie a sure shot hit. But actually the film had people who worked hard with great conviction and who produced the lovely film with a message that money is not everything, said Varu. She also thanked the reviewers who gave an honest review and appreciated the film. Varalaxmi said that she just got to know about the paid reviews and also said that the reviewers attacked some actors who worked in the film instead of reviewing the movie. She also said that they had not reviewed the movie but the makeup used by the stars. Varalaxmi said in her post, “Here’s another little Secret.. !! The truth shall prevail... Be the change you wanna see..!! #Savecinema @sarjun34.”
