Special Interview With “Pasanga” Pandiraj!

Pandiraj, one of the lucky youngsters in Tamil cinema, speaks about his experience. He says he presented the movie, “Pasanga,” with the experience he gained in his childhood. But, “Pasanga 2” is entirely different from Pasanga. Pasanga 2 deals with the life of the children in the city. This movie depicts the special world of the children and their studying techniques. Pandi says, “While I am doing “Vamsam,” I got the story of Paanga 2. It took two years to analyze well. Meanwhile, I directed Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga. The children with Attensive Diber Hyper Deactive were needed for the story, and the kids are not affected, but they are super kids. These kids are with the IQ value of 120 and 130, where the IQ of the normal human is 110. We also researched for the movies that tell about these children with super IQ. There are no such movies, and hence we decided to make a film of that kind. As this is a complete children movie, there are no romantic scenes in this movie. Suriya Sivakumar performs as a Child Specialist, and he will explain how to handle the children. In fact, it will not appeal as advice, but we have told it in an entertaining way. We have not designed anything, especially for Suriya. He has performed as the character, which we designed. Suriya and Amala Paul have cooperated as well and with these stars, we could gain the support of their fans and are expecting the movie to reach high. We are releasing the film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. People, who are watching the movie, should leave the theater with complete satisfaction, and they should recommend it to their friends and we have worked hard for that. People, who watch the movie, will come to know how to parent a child. First we approached Jyotika to pair Suriya. As Jyo was busy with “36 Vayathinile,” we are unable to get her dates. Then, Amala Paul flashed in my mind, and I approached director Vijay. Vijay asked his wife, and she nodded ok, as it is a children movie. Similarly, Bindu Madhavi acts in a mother role. There are songs in this film to attract the kids. Chotta Bheem song will attract the kids for sure. Though my remuneration for Pasanga 2 is tiny, I am satisfied with it. This satisfaction could not be gained when I direct lots of commercial movies.”
