Due to the heavy rain, Cuddalore, Chennai and Tuticorin districts suffer a lot. In Cuddalore, the severely affected village named, “Karivettai” is being rescued by the Nadigar Sangam. With the support from the “Environmentalist Foundation of India,” an NGO, the Nadigar Sangam helped the affected people with the basic needs such as Rice, Dal, sugar and salt along with the kitchen utilities.
